  • This volunteer board, also referred to as the Local Planning Agency (LPA), is appointed by the elected Board of County Commissioners and plays an important role in the public hearing process. It reviews proposed developments, land use amendments, and rezonings for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan and provides recommendations to the Board.
