Orange County Parks and Recreation has the following fun events and community meetings:
Fish-4-Fun in September 2026!
Fish-4-Fun is a free catch-and-release fishing event for ages 15 and younger that takes place at four parks (see below - children can participate in any or all four events); each on-site registration starts at 7:30 a.m.; fishing tournament 8-10 a.m.; and winners recognized 10 a.m. We encourage family and friends to fish with their registered child and to bring your own fishing gear if you have it; supplies will be offered to registered children, while supplies last. Dance the Night Away With The Crew on Saturday, September 26
Enjoy the beautiful music of The Crew on the last Saturday of the month, from 6-9 p.m., at Centro Renaissance para Ancianos's ballroom! Each event is open to adults ages 18 and older and all styles of dance are welcome. Cost is $20 per person; if a new customer, register at tinyurl.com/SetUpYourAccount and all pay online at tinyurl.com/TheCrewAtRSC.
You will enjoy a cool atmosphere of dance, fun and live music provided by The Crew. The band will perform a wide variety of social ballroom music, offering something for everyone and creating plenty of opportunities to dance throughout the night. Be ready to dance, socialize, and enjoy a fantastic evening! Light refreshments will be available while supplies last. Questions? FREE Movies in the Park
Bring your family and friends to the following locations for a FREE Movie in the Park! Bring lawn chairs and snacks, or purchase from food trucks, if available. No alcohol allowed in the park; no pets allowed in the viewing area. Questions? Email parks@ocfl.net.

This fun live-action movie (rated PG, 108 mins.) starts at 6 p.m., shortly after dark.

FREE Fort Christmas Barnyard Banter Program, October 17
All ages are welcome to join in the Barnyard Banter program at Fort Christmas Historical Park! on August 15, from 1-2 p.m., enjoy Frontier Field Games to enjoy a reflection of the fall season: the history of fall festivals and pioneer homecomings. After the discussion, guests can participate in a small festival of games. This is a FREE program, open to the public. Visite Parque Histórico Fort Christmas for more information. Questions? FREE Monthly Senior Fish-4-Fun Event at Renaissance Senior Center, October 20, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Orange County Parks & Recreation and the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission join together to bring you Senior Fish-4-Fun for ages 55 and older at Centro Renaissance para Ancianos. This is a once-a-month free catch-n-release fishing event! Fishing poles and bait provided while supplies last, or participants can bring their own fresh-water fishing gear. Questions? FREE Roller Skate Night at Barber Park, October 30
Get your skates ready to roll! Come to Barber Park's Roller Skate Night on Friday, October 30, from 5:30-9 p.m. Bring your own skates and enjoy skate games, a DJ playing music and select food trucks to purchase from. For everyone's safety, do not wear face masks or costumes that may create a tripping hazard. Please note this event is outdoors on the hockey rink's concrete floor.
