Place carts within three feet of the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before and no later than 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Remember: Collection crews have until 8 p.m. to complete each route.
- Keep lids fully closed; do not overfill carts. Do not stack items on top of or alongside carts.
- Have at least three feet of clearance between each cart, the mailbox, parked cars, and low-hanging tree limbs so trucks can safely use the mechanical arm.
- Face cart handles toward the house and lid arrows toward the street.
- DO NOT MIX yard waste, garbage, recyclables, and large items.
- Después de la recolección, guarde los contenedores vacíos el mismo día.
- Use our online form to request a cart repair or replacement.
- To help prevent truck fires, DO NOT place items such as batteries, oil, pool chemicals, and propane tanks in the carts.
To reduce the amount of garbage in the recycling stream, residents are encouraged to "Think 5" and only put these empty and dry recyclable items in the blue lid recycling cart (loose, NOT bagged):

Bottles, jugs, and tubs only
- Latas
De hojalata, aluminio y acero
- Cristal
Botellas y jarras
- Cartón
Flatted corrugated boxes

La basura puede colocarse en el contenedor rodante con tapa verde, excepto los artículos que se mencionan a continuación. It is recommended that garbage items be bagged and tied first, then placed in the cart.
Unaccepted waste includes hot ashes or coals, recyclable items, household hazardous chemicals, medical waste, fluorescent bulbs, tires, paint, and yard waste such as bagged or loose grass, leaves, or small branches.
Yard waste includes vegetative landscaping material as well as grass, tree, and shrub trimmings, and should not be placed in the garbage or recycling cart. Place neatly at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before and no later than 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
